Winter Savory Honey

Winter savory honey has a taste that’s been described as a cross between thyme and mint. It varies in color from dark yellow to brown and is most commonly used in teas.

 

Winter savory is a hardy semi-evergreen bush, mainly used in herb gardens as a border plant. But during the summer months in southwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, when winter savory is in full bloom, bees are drawn in droves to collect nectar from its irresistible flowers.
